Il principe ranocchio

The Podere Raspollino, so it was named, was built in 1909. It was designed by Leopold II of Lorena, Grand Duke of Tuscany, in a single project with other farms which are located in the neighbourhood. The names of these farms refer to the Grand Ducal family or to the local topography. The family Todella, who come from the near town of Follonica from where they originate , have lived here since 1937. The farm is located in the hills not far from the wonderful sea of Castiglione della Pescaia and covers an area of about 22 hectares. On the farm, grapevines and olive trees are cultivated, as well as cereal crops for the breeding of cattle. The farm is at our guests disposal to make your stay pleasant and relaxing in this peaceful countryside and offers the possibility to easily reach the coastal pine wood and the sea. The family Todella is pleased to welcome you and offer you a peaceful retreat in the country with its and clean air and green surroundings. Here you can take pleasant walks or bicycle excursions.

Apartments
of
Principe Ranocchio"

The farm "Il Principe Ranocchio" was built on a side part of the main building. In the original morphological structure of the building some rooms which were destined to be used as warehouses, have been restored and transformed into two twin apartments. The apartment called “La Carrozza” or "The Carriage", at the west entrance, and the apartment called “La Fonte” or "The Spring", at the east entrance, are furnished with: living room with kitchen angle; bathroom with shower; bedrooms with double bed. The kitchen is equipped with: gas rings, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Both the apartments are equipped with heating/air conditioning.
